Janna Remington My name is Janna Remington. I will be teaching 4th grade and I could not be more excited to learn and grow with my new students this year. I am originally from Glens Falls, NY but moved down to Alpharetta, GA when I was young. I grew up in Forsyth County and I am so happy to be back as a teacher. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education as well as my Reading Endorsement. My name is Jessica Giraldo and I am so excited to be joining the Brandywine Family! This will be my second year teaching, as I previously taught First Grade at Chestatee Elementary. I grew up in Cumming and attended school in Forsyth County all throughout my early, middle, and high school years. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. My absolute favorite thing about teaching is getting to build close relationships with each of my students and providing them with love and support to ensure that they are successful in their learning journey. Howdy, I'm Delaney Windham! I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, where I spent my childhood dreaming of becoming an educator. I earned my bachelor's degree from Tennessee Tech University and taught 4th grade two years before moving here.This is my second year teaching at Brandywine, and I love being a Badger!!! I love to instill goal setting in students academically and personally. My number one goal is to make BWE students feel safe and loved. I strive to facilitate a positive learning environment where students have a sense of curiosity, individuality, and purpose.

I was lucky enough to grow up in beautiful San Diego, California. After high school I moved to Gainesville, Florida for college. Go Gators!!! I met my husband, Brian in the saxophone section of the marching band and we have been married for 13 years. I graduated with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in math, science, and technology. After college, we settled in Wesley Chapel, Florida, where I taught third, fourth, and fifth grade for six years. I had the pleasure of teaching fifth grade for a few years with Kimberly Benton.
My family moved to the Atlanta area in 2011 when my husband was transferred to AT&T. My family currently lives in Alpharetta with our three adorable daughters. My girls are my world and my class will hear me talk about them quite a bit. In my free time I love to read, travel, shop, and spend time with my family.

Ruth Beichner is a fourth grade teacher at Brandywine Elementary School. Ruth is originally from Oil City, a small town in northwest Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from Clarion University in Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in elementary education. She holds a master’s degree in reading and a doctorate’s degree in leadership, both from Walden University. She has taught for the past 20 years in Georgia in preschool, grades 2, 5 and now fourth. Prior to teaching, she lived and worked in New York City.
Ruth has 2 children -Meg and Joe. She loves teaching.

I began teaching 28 years ago, took a break to stay home with my 2 children, and am now returning to the classroom. I have taught kindergarten through 3rd grade, and also 6th & 7th grade Math. I hold degrees in Elementary and Bilingual/ESL Education. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and reading as much as I can!
