I have been teaching for 30 years. My teaching career began in 1988, at Dolvin Elementary in Fulton County. After eight years I moved to Northwood Elementary in Fulton County. I taught there for a few years and then came to Forsyth County. I have had experience in second through fifth grade. I have taught 5th grade for 8 years, and I love it. The students are eager to learn and they still love their teacher! I have two children named Zachary and Brittany, who attend the University of West Georgia. I also have a cute dog named Jingles! We enjoy living in the Brandywine community which allows us to attend many Brandywine activities!

Donna Hoffman will be teaching 5th grade at Brandywine Elementary. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Donna began her career in the Cobb County School System. She taught 4th grade, 5th grade and Gifted for 16 years at Brumby Elementary.
Donna is married to Matthew Hoffman and they have 3 children – Tyler (12), Paige (10), and Cooper (3). In her spare time, Donna loves to spend time with family, read, go to movies, walk, and cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs!!

Kim Coley graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997. She taught for 5 years in Gwinnett, and then she moved to Forsyth. She taught 4th and 5th grades for 14 years at Vickery Creek Elementary. Kim lives in Cumming with her husband Michael and her two kids. Emma is 14 and goes to Forsyth Central. London is 11, and he goes to Otwell Middle. In her free time, Kim enjoys reading, scrap booking, traveling, UGA football, and everything Disney. She is very excited to be a part of the Brandywine family.

My name is Casey Brewer and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade at Brandywine! I am a proud alumni of Kennesaw State University where I received my bachelor’s degree while also receiving a Reading and ESOL endorsement. I grew up in Orlando, Florida where in elementary school I decided that I wanted to become a teacher. Since living in Georgia I have enjoyed hiking, spending time with family, and pursuing my career in teaching. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!

Susan (Sue) Jones is teaching 5th grade during the 2017-18 school year at Brandywine Elementary School. She has been teaching for nineteen years. Ms. Jones started out teaching 5th grade at a Catholic School in Florida, and then taught 4th and 5th grade at a private Military Academy in Florida before moving to Georgia in 2006. Since living in Georgia, Ms. Jones has worked at Corley Elementary School in Gwinnett County teaching in both the 4th and 5th grades. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at Florida State University in 1997, and Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology at Walden University in 2012.
Ms. Jones moved to Forsyth County in July of 2016 to be closer to her family. She loves being out on Lake Lanier, traveling, and spending time with her seven-year-old nephew, and four-year-old niece.
I am a native of Durham, NC, but moved to Atlanta after attending the University of Georgia where I received my BA in Psychology. After dabbling in the field of social work for five years, I found my true calling in education. I received my Masters in Education from Georgia State. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy participating in professional development opportunities.
I have worked at Sharon Elementary for 11 years. I taught pre-k for one year, kindergarten for four years, and 2nd grade for 7 years. Prior to coming to Sharon I taught at the preschool, middle school, and high school levels. Elementary is my favorite by far! I hold certifications in elementary and interrelated special education, and am gifted endorsed.
I live in Cumming with my wonderful husband, Scott, two teenage daughters, Lindsay (20), and Maggie (19), and my golden retriever puppy, Duke). I enjoy working out, reading, and cooking.

Ms. Staton is a west coast native. She was born in Hawai’i and also lived in Oregon and California. She graduated with her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Oregon State University. She has been teaching since 1997. Her career started in Santa Cruz, California, before moving to Georgia. She has taught for ten years in Forsyth County. Her teaching experience is in grades 3-5, although you may have seen her as a Brandywine Kindergarten Parapro last year.
Coral lives with her husband, two children (who attend Brandywine), and two dogs. She loves to be outdoors camping or enjoying some adventure. She has a passion for traveling. She also enjoys reading and staying active.
