My name is Kim Benton and I am excited for my 21^st year in teaching at Brandywine.  I graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Reading Education.  I have taught as a classroom teacher, an ESOL, EIP and gifted teacher, and for the past six years I have been an Instructional Coach.  My husband and I are from Florida and have two daughters.  I love to cook, be outside in the sun, and spend quality time with my family.  I am excited for another year of teaching and learning with the amazing staff and students at Brandywine Elementary. 

Hello! My name is Kara Merck and this will be my 14th year in education. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I received my master's in Post-Secondary Education Instructional Technology from Troy University. In my free time, I love to hang out with my husband. We love to travel and go to concerts. My favorite pastime is being an aunt to my beautiful nieces and nephews. I am so excited to be the new Ed Tech Coach at Brandywine! I know we are going to have an amazing year!
