The goal of the Brandywine clinic is to help each and every student maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to promote optimum learning. The school nurse assesses the individual medical needs of the student, plans, and implements nursing care. The nurse also monitors medication and/or treatment given to the students while at school. Hearing and vision screenings are conducted each year for 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students.
Jennifer Gniadek My name is Jennifer Gniadek, and I am excited to be the school nurse for Brandywine Elementary. I was raised in Alpharetta, GA and graduated from the “old” Milton High School. I went to Valdosta State before it was a University and completed my nursing degree in Savannah, GA at Armstrong State College in 1994. Working as a registered nurse (RN) for the last 25 years, I have worked in Dialysis, ICU, Recovery Room, and spent the last 12 years at the local pediatric hospital in Surgical Services. I love being a nurse and helping others. My husband Steve and I have been married for almost 20 years and have 4 children Jacob, Zach, Sam and Molly, all in Forsyth County Schools. We also have 2 dogs, Fenway and Sox… Go Boston Red Sox! I enjoy spending time with family and friends and trips to the beach. I look forward to meeting the students and families this year and helping them as needed. 480131 firstname.lastname@example.org
