AP Exam Registration Timeline 

AP Exam Schedule 2024-25

At AAI, we want our students to have opportunities to take Advanced Placement courses that are offered by the College Board.  These courses allow students to take college-level courses.  Each May we will administer the AP exams according to the schedule set by the College Board.  Many colleges and universities will award students college credit upon receiving a passing score on these exams.  See the College Board Website for more information about AP Courses and Exams.

AP Exam Cost: $99/ exam + $25 Admin Fee/ testing year

AP Exam Cost Exception: AP Research and AP Seminar: $147 + $25 Admin Fee/ testing year

AP Testing Payment:

• • The Total Registration platform is used for registering and paying for AP exams.  Total Registration is the AP Exam Fee Collection Provider with the purpose of accurate and transparent financial tracking; providing clear communication between students, parents, teachers, and proctors; reconciliation between the College Board Exam Ordering system and collection of AP Exam fees; and simplifying the overall exam administration process.
  • Students intending to take AP Exams should work closely under the supervision of their parents to create a Total Registration account, select AP Exams they will take in May, and then parents should complete payments for those exams.

Late AP Exam Registration  

• After Oct. 22, 2024 @ 6:00 PM new registrations for AP exams will incur a $40 per exam late fee from the College Board. 

AP Exam Cancellations

• AP exam cancellation after Nov 15, 2024 will incur a $40 cancellation fee.
• The admin fee is non-refundable.

PHOTO ID REQUIRED FOR ALL AP EXAMS

• Students will need to present a valid, current, photo ID to take each of their AP Exams in May.
• See guidelines regarding acceptable forms of IDs and alternatives.
