Mrs. Holly Scroggs

I am currently in my sixth year of education and being a SkillsUSA advisor. I was thrilled to be part of the inaugural teaching staff at Alliance Academy for Innovation. I have taught for 3 years in Forsyth County and 3 years in Fulton County. I have earned an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction and an M.B.A. in Criminal Justice. Prior to working in education, I was a police officer and a detention officer for over six years with the City of Roswell Police Department. While in high school in Fulton County, I was in the Forensic Science and Criminal Investigations pathway. I was an active member and leader of our school’s SkillsUSA chapter as well as a keen participant with the Roswell Police Explorers. As a senior, I competed in the Criminal Justice competition in SkillsUSA and earned a national gold medal. As the Criminal Investigations instructor at Alliance Academy, I have the privilege of combining my passions for criminal justice, teaching, and SkillsUSA and I love it! I live locally in Cumming with my wonderful husband who works in the dental industry. We are blessed with three beautiful children (two of which are due December 2020).

Mrs. Debra Fraysure-McCormick, JD

I am in my 10th year in education in Forsyth County Schools, and my 2nd year at Alliance Academy for Innovation, teaching in the School of Criminal Justice and Law. Prior to moving to Georgia, I was a civil litigation attorney with a large firm in Ohio and Kentucky and taught real estate law at a local college. At this point in my career, I have come full circle, combining my passions for both the practice of law and for teaching. As a Law Instructor, I have the privilege of teaching constitutional law and trial procedure to passionate young people in a beautiful courtroom. It is the very definition of my happy place. In addition, I serve as an Advisor for SkillsUSA, a student-led organization providing educational programs, events and competitions that support career and technical education. I am amazed every day by the young men and women who serve on our AAI SkillsUSA Leadership team, and the exponential ways they have grown in their time here. They are truly the leaders of tomorrow. I also serve as the Legal Specialist for LAPSEN, the Law & Public Safety Education Network.

I live in Buford with my husband, Dennis and our puppy. We have two grown children (twins) who both live in the Atlanta area. I am so happy to see my returning students and to meet all of our new ones. #CaptainAmericasHouse  #GoAvengers!
