Kelley Crandall
Mrs. Kelley Crandall’s is a graduate of The University of West Florida with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. This will be her 23rd year teaching and has been here at Chestatee for 14 years. She is the proud mother of a sophomore at East High School. Although she has taught kindergarten through eighth grade, teaching reading and phonics is her favorite. Mrs. Crandall believes that communication and building connections is key to a successful year and can’t wait to meet her new students and their families. Ext. 722142

Amy Garrett
Amy Garrett is beginning her 29th year of teaching. She is a graduate of North Georgia College and State University with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with endorsements in reading and gifted education. She loves to instill the love of reading in her students. She has taught in grades 1-4, as well as Title I/EIP.

Lori Faulkner
Mrs. Faulkner has been teaching for 28 years in Forsyth County and 16 years at Chestatee. Mrs. Faulkner received her Bachelor's degree from North Georgia and her Master's degree from Lesly University. She loves working in the classroom with English learners. She works with 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. She loves being a part of the community and family at Chestatee.

Emily Flack
This will be Mrs. Flack's 26th year teaching in Forsyth County, and her 7th here at Chestatee! She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and her Master's degree from Piedmont College. She has taught Spanish, Title I and EIP, and ESOL. She is very excited to be working with ESOL students in kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades this year, and can't wait to get started again! Ext. 722172

Joan Knight
This will be Mrs. Joan Knight’s 14th year at Chestatee. Mrs. Knight received her Bachelor’s and Masters from Brenau University and her Specialist degree in School Leadership and Instructional Support from the University of North Georgia. This is Mrs. Knight’s 22nd year in teaching. I have taught all grades from Kindergarten to 12th in special education and early childhood. She has had the opportunity at Chestatee to teach all grades and will be working in the Early Intervention Program this year. This is her 7th year in the EIP program and has had an incredible experience getting to work with so many wonderful teachers, parents, and students. She is so excited to have the opportunity to work this year with so many amazing parents and students along with her wonderful Chestatee Family. She is so thankful to be part of the Chestatee community.

Kelly Lamb
Kelly Lamb has been teaching for 21 years and this will be her fourth year at Chestatee. She will be teaching EIP and is excited to work with children in the areas of reading and math. Over her career, she has at Oak Hill, Sawnee, and Daves Creek Elementary Schools. She graduated from Georgia Southern University and holds her degree in Early Childhood Education along with her science endorsement. She enjoys hands-on creative learning opportunities and takes pride in making school fun and meaningful for her students. Mrs. Lamb is a proud Chestatee Eagle and is looking forward to a fantastic school year!

Cheryl Thomas
Ms. Thomas has been working for Forsyth County Schools for 16 years. She is part of Chestatee's Academic Support Team. Ms. Thomas is a graduate of University of North Georgia where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Sociology degree with a minor in Psychology and her Master's degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement. She is dedicated to teaching ELA to all grade levels and assisting with the Chestatee School Store. Mrs. Thomas is eager about meeting her new students and families for the 2023-24 school year!

Carmen Weaver
Mrs. Weaver is in her 11th year with Forsyth County Schools. She received her degree in Mathematics from the University of West Georgia, followed by a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Weaver also holds her Leadership certificate from Piedmont College. She is thrilled to be serving Chestatee Elementary as the Instructional Coach. Ext. 722170
