WHAT IS ENRICHMENT?
Enrichment is a 5th Academic class, designed to extend student learning beyond a typical classroom experience. Enrichment inspires students to pursue their own individual growth in both strengths and weaknesses and help students conquer their next level. In an Enrichment classroom, students will work on conceptual understanding and problem solving skills individually and in groups. They will work to write and articulate their solutions. Enrichment offers experiences which are supplemental to content area standards and encourages students to use a variety of tools to create and produce products that demonstrate student learning. Enrichment units of study are both Georgia Performance Standards-based and focused on important life skills, such as problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and responsibility. The Forsyth County Learner Profile is also used to help guide instruction.
