I am super excited to begin my 26th year of teaching!  This is my fourth year at Matt, and I taught in Cobb County prior to coming to Matt.  I have taught almost all grade levels, as well as gifted, and am proud to be Matt's Math Instructional Coach this year.  I am passionate about helping ALL students achieve their highest potential. I absolutely love education and look forward to helping everyone at Matt become successful mathematicians. 

I am proud to have been teaching at Matt Elementary since it opened in 2001. Before that, I taught sixth grade at Otwell Middle School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree, Masters of Education degree, and Gifted Endorsement from North Georgia College & State University. Recently, I completed my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership at Georgia College & State University. I am looking forward to experiencing another adventurous school year.
