    sbp Sandra Phillips- Quality Work Facilitator
     Mrs. Sandra Phillips is beginning her 7th year at Matt Elementary, and her 27th year as an educator. As Quality Work Facilitator/Administration Support Mrs. Phillips facilitates Student Support Team (SST) meetings and 504 Plans. Her experience prior to this includes STEM Specials Teacher, EIP teacher, ESOL teacher, Kindergarten teacher, and Second Grade teacher.  She completed her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia and her Master’s and Specialist degrees from the University of North Georgia.  Sandra and her husband, Mike, live in Cumming.  They have two children, Madison and Noah. Madison is a junior at Ole Miss and Noah is a senior at North Forsyth High. Mrs. Phillips enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, watching her son play lacrosse, and going to the beach any chance she gets. Mrs. Phillips believes that building relationships with teachers, students and their families is crucial to helping our students feel loved and successful in school.  Mrs. Phillips is excited to continue her role in supporting teachers, students and the Matt Administration team for the 2019-2020 school year.

    thom[p Gina Thompson- Instructional Coach
    I am proud to have been teaching at Matt Elementary since it opened in 2001. Before that, I taught sixth grade at Otwell Middle School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree, Masters of Education degree, and Gifted Endorsement from North Georgia College & State University. Recently, I completed my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership at Georgia College & State University. I am looking forward to experiencing another adventurous school year.
