    Tiffany Mello

    Instructional Coach

Hi! I’m Tiffany Mello and I am so excited to be the Instructional Coach at VCE this year! I have taught at VCE since 2013 and it honestly is the BEST place to be! I previously taught first grade, third grade, and Math EIP. I earned my Bachelors and Masters in Early Childhood Education with endorsements in Reading and ESOL from Valdosta State University. I also earned my Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. Most recently, I earned my Dyslexia Endorsement through Metro RESA. Currently, I am working on my Coaching Endorsement.

I was born and raised in Georgia and grew up in Alpharetta for most of my life. My husband and I live in Cumming with our daughter, Adalynn and our husky, Mojo. We enjoy going to UGA games during football season! GO DAWGS! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, and traveling! I am looking forward to a wonderful year!!

    Amy Waller

Educational Technology Coach & Leader in Me Lighthouse Coordinator

My name is Amy Waller, and I am absolutely thrilled to be entering my 6th year here at VCE!  It truly is a blessing to be a part of the VCE family!   After teaching with our special education department for the past 5 years, I am beyond excited to be moving into the role of Educational Technology Coach (ETC).  I am also the Leader in Me Lighthouse Coordinator for VCE. I am looking forward to supporting our teachers, students, and community through this role.

I am a Florida native and have been teaching for 13 years.  I have a degree in Child Development from Florida State University, although I am a die-hard Gator fan!  In 2021, I went back to school and earned my Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University and graduated in 2022.

My husband Scott and I have been married for 14 years.  We have 2 beautiful daughters, Emily, who is 13 and in 8th grade right next door at Vickery Middle, and Reese, who is 10 and in 5th grade right here at VCE.  To sharpen my saw in my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching football (GO GATORS!!) and Braves baseball, crafts, and online shopping.  I am looking forward to another great year at VCE!

    Jessica Howington

    MTSS Coordinator

Hello! I'm Jessica Howington, and I'm excited to begin my 11th year as an educator. I am blessed to be living my purpose every day here at VCE! I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to meet this year's Vikings and their parents. Together, we'll work to make this a truly fulfilling year for your child!

I completed my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and went on to earn both a Masters and Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I've also obtained an endorsement in English for Speakers of Other Languages and currently working on my Dyslexia endorsement.

Outside of school, I enjoy sharpening my saw by spending quality time with my family and friends. Whether it's through travel, enjoying the outdoors, or indulging in a bit of shopping. I also stay active by playing tennis and taking walks with my dog, Dixie.

In my role as this year's MTSS (Multi-Tiered System Support) Coordinator, I aim to assist teachers and families in ensuring student achievement across academics, social-emotional learning, and behavioral development. Let's collaborate to make this year impactful!
