The Academies at SFHS
The Academies at South Forsyth High School is our attempt to make our very large school feel a bit smaller for students. It's a way for them to have a connection to something besides classes and academics, beyond just extracurricular activities. It's a way for them to explore their passions and interests that they might choose to pursue as career paths.
For more information about each academy, visit their page using the menu to the left.
Other large high schools across the country have tried a similar small learning community model in an attempt to give their schools some of the benefits of smaller schools. Read about some of there experiences here.
