I’m excited to be a Pirate! I received my Bachelor’s degree from UCF in 2006 and a Master’s degree from NSU. I have taught kindergarten and second grade. I am married and have two sons. I enjoy visiting family in Florida, running 5Ks with my boys, and going on new adventures. We are going to have an exciting year in kindergarten.

     Bagley  Megan Bagley
Hi! I'm Megan Bagley and I love being a wife, mother, and a teacher! I have lived in Forsyth County almost all my life and enjoy volunteering at my church and spending time with my family. I hold a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State University. For my undergrad, I attended North Georgia University, earning a dual degree in Early Childhood and Special Education, and I have reading, science, and STEM/STEAM endorsements! I love being a teacher and consider every student who walks through my classroom door a member of the Bagley Bunch!

     mathis  Kathy Mathis
I have been teaching in Forsyth since 2018, but taught for many years before that in another county. I have taught Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fourth grades. When teaching, I strive to create a classroom family where students feel safe to be creative and have fun when learning. When not in the classroom, I love spending time with my family.

     pennington  Sarah Pennington

My name is Sarah Pennington, and I could not be more thrilled to be on the pirate ship this year at Poole’s Mill Elementary! This will be my fifth year teaching in Forsyth County and my second year teaching kindergarten. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2019 with my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I love to read, so teaching students about books is a dream come true! My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels safe, loved, and capable of great things. When I’m not in school, you can probably find me cooking something new in the kitchen or spending quality time with my family and our two rescue dogs.
