I have been a 4th grade teacher in Forsyth County since 2015 and also taught 3 years prior in Gwinnett County! I received my BS in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia while attending school on a soccer scholarship. I also have a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction with a Gifted Endorsement. I love exercising and reading mysteries in my free time. On the weekends, you can find me having fun at the lake with my husband, daughter, and son! I can’t wait for this year when students will reach their highest potential in a fun, challenging, and nurturing environment.

I am excited about beginning my 2nd year at Poole's Mill! This is my 14th year of teaching and my 7th teaching here in Forsyth County. I have taught grade levels 4th-12th (except 7th). I received my Bachelor's in Middle Grades Education from the University of Pikeville (KY), my Master's in Educational Leadership from Union College (KY), and my Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University (GA). I look forward to helping my students reach their full potential and to develop a desire to become a lifelong learner.
