Ahoy Pirates! I am excited to be teaching our Explorers special this year. We are going to have a great time as we explore all the CTAE (career pathways) that our county has to offer.  Students will begin to learn about potential careers so that as they move into middle and onto high school, they are able to choose a pathway that is right for them. I have been married to my husband Kyle for 23 years. Our son Taylor will be a senior at Alliance Academy and our daughter Kayla will be in 5th grade here at PME. We have 2 dogs and a cat. We love camping and spending time outdoors.

I am very excited to be serving Poole’s Mill this year as the Pirate’s Path teacher. Pirate’s Path will be a combination of Leader in Me, fitness, teamwork, and cooperative learning to prepare our Pirates to be leaders for life's adventures. It is very important to me that each child feels loved, supported, and valued, and I am eager to watch our Pirates thrive.

Welcome, Pirates! I am Mrs. Jones, and I am thrilled to be the Media Specialist for Poole’s Mill Elementary! Before opening the Poole’s Mill Media Center, I was a 4th grade teacher at Matt Elementary School. I also have experience teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and I was also a Literacy Coach. I am happily married to my wonderful husband, Bryan, and together we have two children and a crazy dog named Daisy. I enjoy traveling, boating, skiing, and spending time with my family. My favorite subjects in school are reading and writing, and I especially love children’s books. I am thrilled to continue to share my love of literacy with others!
