Developing Children's Excellence and Success through Students Thinking, Exploring and Making Real-World Connections

Our STEM process has evolved over the past 5 years into what it is today. Each grade level designs quarterly project-based learning (PBL) units that engage students in collaborative problem-solving, design thinking, accountable talk and journaling. These PBL units are built upon our standards, which also include special area teachers and expand our teaching focus to a broader world perspective.  Our school’s core identity is integrating innovative technology and making global connections. We proudly achieved Cognia STEM Certification in January 2022, which makes Daves Creek the second elementary school in Forsyth County to hold this nationally recognized certificate.
