Mrs. Jody Bearden
Mrs. Bearden is starting her 13th year teaching in Forsyth County. This is her 10th year teaching interrelated at Whitlow. Mrs. Bearden also taught 4th grade at Cumming Elementary prior to becoming a Whitlow Wolf. She holds a specialist degree in Curriculum Design & Instruction. Mrs. Bearden has special certification in the areas of Special Education, reading instruction/assessment, and ESOL. She and her husband, Jeremy both enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their little dogs. She is excited for another wonderful school year!

Ms. Amy Benton
Amy Benton earned a psychology degree at The University of Georgia, a Bachelor of Science in Education at Georgia Southern University, and a Masters of Education in Inclusive Education at Kennesaw State University. Ms. Benton has taught students with disabilities in elementary, middle and high school for the past nineteen years. She is classroom certified by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham and has earned a Reading Endorsement. She is also trained in the Highly Effective Teaching Method of a Brain-Based Classroom. Mrs. Benton loves to incorporate music, movement, and chants to her lessons for retention as well as making learning fun!

Mrs. Kathy Carroll
This will be Mrs. Carroll's 28th year in public education. She attended Forsyth County Schools as a child. She earned her Bachelors degree (1991) and her Masters degree (1992) from North Georgia College. She earned her Specialist degree in educational leadership from Lincoln Memorial University in 2000. She has taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, EIP, and ESOL. This school year she will be an EIP support teacher.

Ms. Cindy Cox
Ms. Cox loves spending time with her students, family and friends, traveling, meeting people from other cultures and observing animals. She has enjoyed teaching in Florida, Saudi Arabia, and Georgia. She is certified to teach k-8, Horizons and ESOL.

Mrs. Deanne Cox
I am excited to start my 30th year in public education! I’ve taught grades K-3rd, as well as EIP and Special Education. I have been at Whitlow since we opened up in 2009. I have been married for 33 years to my husband Jim. We have two amazing children, Courtney (27) and Cameron (24). We also have a spunky 4 year old chocolate lab named Kona.

Mrs. Suzette Harris
This is Mrs. Harris' 12th year at Whitlow. She has taught first through 3rd grade as well as EIP support. She started teaching in Savannah, Georgia after graduating from Furman University with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She also received a Master's degree from Georgia Southern University.

Ms. Jessica Hart
My name is Jessica Hart and this will be my 4th year as a Whitlow Wolf and my 6th year of teaching! I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades as well as special education. This will be my second year working as an interrelated teacher. I look forward to another great year!

Mrs. Katherine Neubrecht
Mrs. Neubrecht is starting her 16th year of teaching in Forsyth County. She has taught 2nd, 5th and special education. She graduated from Michigan State University and she is a huge Spartan fan. Prior to moving to GA, she taught middle school in Michigan. Her husband works for General Motors and they have 2 children. Her daughter Megan attends Forsyth Central and her son Kevin recently graduated from GCSU.

Mrs. Allison Parker
Mrs. Parker is an EIP (Early Intervention Program) teacher in 4th and 5th grades. Whitlow has been her home since opening in 2009. Prior to Whitlow, she taught at Cumming Elementary and Idlewood Elementary (DeKalb County). Her Bachelors Degree (Human Sciences) and Masters (Elementary Education) were both obtained at Auburn University (War Eagle). Since beginning her career, she has obtained an ESOL, Gifted, Math, and Dyslexia Endorsement.

Mrs. Kaycee Westbrook
Kaycee is a proud Forsyth County native. After graduating from the Forsyth County Public School System, she received her Associate’s Degree from Gainesville State College. She then graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Middle School Education from North Georgia College and State University (UNG). She is certified in Elementary and Special Education. She also received her Math Endorsement. This is her 9th year teaching at Whitlow. She has loved being able to teach and support students K-5.
