MTSS
A Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a systemic, continuous-improvement framework in which data-based problem solving and decision-making is practiced across all levels of the educational system for supporting students.
Our school utilizes the FastBridge program to determine skill deficits. FastBridge combines Computer-Adaptive Tests (CAT) and Curriculum-Based Measures (CBM) for universal screening and progress monitoring—and delivers reliable data and insights along with built-in assessment and instruction coaches—to transform the way you bolster student learning.
The following are some of the intensive interventions used to help close the skills gaps for our students.
-
Reading Plus - is a personalized intervention providing instruction to develop silent reading proficiency and confident, lifelong readers in the elementary setting for students in 3rd - 5th grade.
-
LLI - The Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention System (LLI) is an intensive, small-group, supplementary literacy intervention for students who find reading and writing difficult. The goal of LLI is to lift the literacy achievement of students who are not achieving grade-level expectations in reading.
