It is my honor and privilege to serve as New Hope's first principal! I am so excited to create a vibrant and thriving school community with all our new Nighthawks and their families. I began my career as a fifth-grade teacher in Fulton County in 2000. I taught at Dunwoody Springs Elementary and Wilson Creek Elementary. I became an elementary mathematics specialist, and then served as assistant principal at Dolvin Elementary and Roswell North Elementary. In 2015, I was thrilled to join Forsyth County Schools as assistant principal at Big Creek Elementary before taking over as principal. I have two boys who attend Forsyth County schools. My husband is a principal in Fulton County. We love to travel and explore new places and believe that learning is a lifelong adventure!I can't wait to meet all our new students and families in August!

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be joining Nighthawk Nation! I have been a Forsyth County educator since 2006, and I was most recently an Assistant Administrator at Big Creek Elementary. A little about me -- I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from North Georgia College and State University, as well as a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I also have endorsements in reading and gifted and am an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction with a leadership add on certificate. I have two sons who will be attending New Hope as well! My husband is also an educator and a middle school band director. I love spending time hanging out and playing with my boys. I can't wait to open the doors of New Hope in August and welcome home all our new Nighthawks!

Then I received my Master of Arts in Teaching in Reading, Language and Literacy from Georgia State University with endorsements in Reading, ESOL and Special Education. I taught at several schools in north Fulton County before joining Forsyth County Schools in 2017 as an Instructional Coach at Big Creek Elementary. In 2021, I completed my Tier 1 Leadership Certificate from North Georgia College and State University. My husband Jeff and I have a goldendoodle named Roxie, and we live in Sandy Springs. We enjoy spending time at the beach and traveling to new places. I can't wait to get to know the New Hope students and families!
