Katie Riedinger- Art
Hello, Nighthawks! My name is Katie Riedinger and I am the proud Art teacher here at New Hope Elementary!
I have many years of experience teaching various types of fine Art to grades K-12. I am originally from NJ but have been lucky to share my love of Art with students in AZ, NC and GA as well. I live here in Cumming with my husband and dog, Louie. My two daughters both attend the University of Tennessee. GO VOLS! I love to paint, go on walks with my husband, play games with my family, read, and I am a huge musical theater fan!
My passion for both teaching and creating art enables me to present a wide range of content knowledge that is engaging and motivating. My classroom goal is to provide a safe, productive and positive environment that fosters self-expression and creates a love for the arts.

Meghan Street- Innovation
Hello, Nighthawks! My name is Meghan Street and I'll be teaching in the Innovation Lab, which is part of New Hope's specials rotation.
I graduated from Georgia State University with my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I started my career in Rockdale County, teaching grades 3-5 and being named Teacher of the Year. Here in Forsyth, I previously taught 4th grade math and science at Big Creek Elementary, where I was also Teacher of the Year. I have also received my Math Endorsement.
I was born in Missouri but moved to Georgia when I was young. My husband and I have two sons, Caden and Ryles, as well as two sweet dogs, CJ and Bear. We love spending time outdoors, especially on our boat, and taking long walks. We are huge baseball fans, always cheering on our son's team and the Atlanta Braves!
I'm elated for the opportunity to build new relationships and partner with amazing educators and parents to lay a wonderful foundation for our future students!
