Natalie Pass- STEAM

Hello, I'm Natalie Pass, and I teach the STEAM specials here at NHES. We will have a lot of fun exploring and creating together through using the engineering design process and theatre. This class is highly focused on: collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, confidence, and communication. We do cross collaborative lessons with science, math, reading, writing, social studies, and other specials classes. Through this class, students will learn life skills that will help them as they continue to grow throughout middle school, high school, and beyond!

I am a graduate of Piedmont University where I earned a degree in Theatre Education. I have my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia College and State University.

I grew up in a military family and have lived in Texas, Illinois, Japan and Georgia. My husband and I moved to Cumming in 2015. We have two children, Annabelle and Theodore, and their best friend is their sweet dog, Rizzo! I am an Atlanta United Soccer fan and an Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs Baseball Fan! I love hiking, running, traveling, and enjoying shows at the Fox Theatre.
I am so excited to be a part of the Nighthawk Community! See you in class!

Michelle Braucht - PE

Hi! My name is Michelle Braucht, and I am excited to be an instructional assistant in PE.

I came to Georgia in 2009 from the “shark bite capital of the world." Can you guess where I come from? I have been working in education since 2003 and in the fitness field since 2010. My husband, Boots, and I live in Cumming. I love spending time hiking with Boots, skating, watching psychological thrillers while having homemade popcorn and cheering for my husband’s football players.

We have two amazing children. Our son, Logan, who lives in North Carolina with his wife. He is completing his Masters in Sports Management while working for Stewart-Hass Racing in Nascar. Our daughter, Ciarra, who lives in Texas, is completing her Masters in Mental Health while her husband serves in security forces for the Air Force. They have blessed Boots and me with our first Granddaughter, Gianna.

I look forward to having an amazing school year. I cannot wait to meet and get to know the students and families in the New Hope Community. Go, Nighthawks!
