Hello, Nighthawks! My name is Jennie Jones, and I will be serving as an Instructional Coach at New Hope this year.
I have my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. I am also certified in grades K-6, ESOL, and Reading, and earned my Ph.D. in Specialized Instruction. I was most recently an associate professor of Literacy Instruction at the University of North Georgia.
I am originally from Greensboro, NC. My husband is a librarian in Cobb County and my son attends Alliance Academy. Bailey and Westin are our 2 adopted pups. I enjoy reading, hiking, and family game night.
I can't wait to begin building new relationships with our team of Nighthawks!

Meghan Street
Hello, Nighthawks! My name is Meghan Street and I'll be teaching in the Innovation Lab, which is part of New Hope's specials rotation.
I graduated from Georgia State University with my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I started my career in Rockdale County, teaching grades 3-5 and being named Teacher of the Year. Here in Forsyth, I previously taught 4th grade math and science at Big Creek Elementary, where I was also Teacher of the Year. I have also received my Math Endorsement.
I was born in Missouri but moved to Georgia when I was young. My husband and I have two sons, Caden and Ryles, as well as two sweet dogs, CJ and Bear. We love spending time outdoors, especially on our boat, and taking long walks. We are huge baseball fans, always cheering on our son's team and the Atlanta Braves!
I'm elated for the opportunity to build new relationships and partner with amazing educators and parents to lay a wonderful foundation for our future students!
