Benita Gibbons - Math Coach
I'm excited to start my 11th year at Kelly Mill and my 23rd year in education. With a Specialist Degree, I work as one of the instructional coaches, supporting teachers to enhance student growth and engagement. My husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. This year, we're sending our twin boys off to college, leaving us with our daughter, a sophomore at AAI, at home. We love family game nights and traveling, and we're looking forward to a great year ahead!

Heidi Makowski - Literacy Coach
I am starting my 26th year working in Forsyth County Schools. This is my second year serving as an Instructional Coach at KME. I am a UGA grad and love my red and black-Go Dawgs! I have two daughters who are following in my footsteps as future educators. Sophie is a senior at UGA and is currently student teaching in Buford City Schools and Ellie is a sophomore at UNG studying art education. My husband moved to Georgia from Buffalo, NY and has fallen in love with everything about the south (he still loves his Bills though). I am so excited to support the important literacy work with all of our Colts, big and small!

Bradley Robertson- Educational Technology Coach (ETC)
Welcome! I am excited about being at Kelly Mill Elementary as the Educational Technology Coach. I began teaching in 1999 in Gwinnett County. While in my 17 years in Gwinnett, I taught Kindergarten, First, Third, and Fourth Grade and served as the Local School Technology Coordinator at Riverside Elementary. In 2016, I made the move to Forsyth County Schools, where I served as Assistant Principal at Kelly Mill and Sharon Elementary until moving back into a role I love as the ETC in 2021. I am a busy father of five (5th grader, a Junior at Lamber, a Senior at Lambert, a Sophmore at UNG Dahlonega, and a Senior at Mercer University), and love spending time with my family doing all the things they love to do. As a father, I know the importance of a solid education that engages students in learning that is challenging, collaborative, and creative. I look forward to serving the students and staff at KME each and every day. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Sara White - Behavior Intervention Coach
Behavior Intervention Coach
Hello Colt Family! I'm Sara White, and I'm thrilled to begin my 24th year in education as a Behavior Coach at Kelly Mill. Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of teaching grades K-5, both as a general education and special education teacher, as well as serving as a Behavior Coach. When I'm not immersed in my passion for education, you'll find me enjoying time with my husband, Jon, our three children—Jaden (20), Maya (18), and Hollyn (13)—and our two doggies, Gunner (9) and Scout (7). We love spending time at the lacrosse field, relaxing by our pool, traveling, and visiting our two eldest children at college. As of recent, I have now classified myself as a VolDawg: Jaden is a junior at University of Tennessee, and Maya is freshman at University of Georgia.
As we leap into this year, let's work together to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students and staff continue to thrive - it's the Colt Way!
