My name is Lainey Newell. I have an undergraduate degree from High Point University. My certification includes elementary education, middle grades language arts and social studies, a reading endorsement, and an ESOL endorsement. I grew up in a small town on Long Island, NY called Hauppauge. I met my husband in college, and we have three amazing daughters, two dogs and two cats. We lived on the east coast of Florida for most of my career and recently moved to Forsyth County to be closer to our extended family. I love reading, crocheting, cooking, pickleball and game nights!

I believe teaching is not just a job, but a privilege. I feel so honored and fortunate to be part of this amazing team at New Hope.
