Leslie Cahill I received my Bachelors Degree from Florida State and my Masters from Florida International University. I have been teaching for 31 years and loving every moment of it! I began my teaching career in Miami, Florida. After 14 years, my family and I relocated to Cumming, Georgia, and I began teaching at Daves Creek. I taught Kindergarten for 24 years, and this will be my eighth year in Second Grade.

Megan Clancy I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Reading Endorsement, a Gifted Endorsement, and I recently received an endorsement in Science. Shortly after graduating college, I relocated to Georgia from Ohio. I am entering my fourteenth year of teaching. Jennifer Hodge I attended the State University of West Georgia where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. This will be my twentieth year teaching with experience in both second and third grades. Emily Lewandowski I have been teaching elementary school for 18 years. I earned my Masters Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University and I am a Certified Google Educator. Cindy Martin This year will be my 25th year of teaching. Of those years, 24 of them have been at Daves Creek Elementary. I grew up in Forsyth County and went to college at North Georgia College where I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Education. I received my Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College last year. Over the years I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade. Lauren Parsell This will be my fifth year teaching second grade at Daves Creek! I graduated from Penn State University where I earned my degree in Kindergarten and Elementary Education along with a minor in Hearing and Deafness Studies. Amy Patterson I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and I have a Master’s degree from West Georgia. I have been teaching for 25 years with experience in Kindergarten, first, and second grade. I have two sons, Tanner and Reece. They are going into ninth and sixth grade. Rachel Thomas I am so excited to be your 2nd grade teacher at Daves Creek! I graduated from the University of Georgia with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Forsyth County and actually went to Daves Creek as a 5th grader! I love teaching at a school that is already a part of my story!
