    Cahill Leslie Cahill  
    I received my bachelor’s degree from Florida State and my Masters from Florida International University. I have been teaching for 34 years and loving every moment of it! I began my teaching career in Miami, Florida. After 14 years, my family and I relocated to Cumming, Georgia, and I began teaching at Daves Creek. I taught Kindergarten for 24 years, and this will be my tenth year in Second Grade.

    Clancy Megan Clancy  
    I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have Reading, Gifted, and Science Endorsements. After graduating college, I relocated to Georgia from Ohio. I am entering my sixteenth year of teaching. This is tenth year at Daves Creek.

    Diaz  Erin Diaz  
    I am so excited to be your second grade teacher! This will be my second year at Daves Creek, last year I taught first grade. I was also a long term substitute teacher in Kindergarten and second grade. I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a Math Endorsement. I enjoy going to the beach, attending UGA football games, reading, and spending time with my family, especially my three nephews. I am looking forward to a great year with you and your child!

    Lewandowski Emily Lewandowski  
    I have been teaching elementary school for 20 years. I earned my Masters Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University and I am a Certified Google Educator. I have two girls, Bradee and Peyton, that are in ninth and tenth grades. I am looking forward to an exciting new year!

     Martin Cindy Martin  
    This year will be my 27th year of teaching. Of those years, 26 of them have been at Daves Creek Elementary. I grew up in Forsyth County and went to college at North Georgia College where I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Education. I received my Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College in 2018. Over the years I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade. I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year! Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 3 children, and our adorable dogs!

     Melendez Jessica Melendez  
    I am so excited to be your 2nd grade teacher! This is my 14th year teaching. I graduated from Teacher's College, Columbia University with a Master's Degree in bilingual education. I relocated to the Cumming area three years ago with my husband and two children from New York. Since then, I worked in Fulton County teaching 3rd grade. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be closer to home and be part of the Dave's Creek Family. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning together!

    My name is Caitlin Odess. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was nine years old, and I am excited to be fulfilling this dream here at Daves Creek. I have lived in Georgia most of my life and graduated from Georgia State University with my Bachelor and Master’s degree in Education. I love teaching because the students seem to learn and grow so much over the year!

    I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and I have a Master’s Degree from West Georgia. I have been teaching for 27 years with experience in kindergarten, first, and second grade. I have two sons, Tanner and Reece. They are going into 11th and 8th grade. I am very excited about this upcoming school year! I look forward to a fabulous year with my 2nd grade students and parents!
