This will be my 20th year in education, all in Forsyth County. I have taught 1st and 3rd grade as a homeroom teacher and served students K-5 in EIP. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Matt, son Cody and daughter Tate, who is also a Mariner. You will often find us outdoors, at a sporting event or watching my Auburn Tigers with friends and family. I look forward to working with students, staff and families of the Matt Community.

I have had the privilege of growing up in Forsyth County, a true native. I attended Midway Elementary, South Forsyth Middle School, and Forsyth County High School throughout my educational journey. I received my bachelor's & master's degrees in early childhood education at North Georgia College and State University, where my Grandaddy went before WWII. I received my gifted endorsement through Forsyth County.
This is my 25th year teaching in Forsyth County and my 3rd year teaching EIP. I have taught all grades pre-k through 5th.
I am married to Dale, who is also a native of Forsyth and is an active-duty soldier in the US Army National Guard. We have 4 girls- Claire, Jillian, Mara, and Sarah.

My name is Lindsay Lovoy and I am so excited to teach EIP this year.  This will be my 18th year of teaching in Forsyth County. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I graduated from University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. My favorite thing about teaching is building relationships with my students and watching them grow both socially/emotionally and academically.

I am married to my husband of 22  years Louie. We have 2 boys, Levi (13) and Luke (7). When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love to be outdoors, whether it’s at the lake, hiking in the North GA mountains, or at a ballpark or basketball gym somewhere.

I have been teaching for over 20 years, and I have been at Matt since it opened in 2001.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Berry College, my Master's degree from Brenau University, and my Education Specialist degree from Piedmont College.  My teaching experience ranges from high school to preschool, but elementary grades are truly where I love to be!  My favorite aspect of teaching is getting to know each student as an individual and forming a caring relationship with each one.  I desire to model my love of learning for my students and inspire them to do the same.  In my spare time I love spending time with my family, making quilts, and reading.
