Daphne Rogers-Principal
It is a true privilege to continue serving the students, staff, and families at Midway Elementary. We are here to partner with our families to ensure the growth and success of each of our Mustangs! As an educator for over 31 years, my experiences include teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade, serving as a Reading Recovery teacher, EIP teacher, Literacy & Instructional Coach, as well as an Educational Leader. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Presbyterian College, Reading Endorsement & Reading Recovery Certificate from Georgia State University, Master’s Degree from Walden University, and Leadership Endorsement from Kennesaw State University. My passions are reading, traveling, spending precious time with my family, continuous learning, and supporting the growth & development of both students and colleagues. My husband and I are the proud parents of a son and daughter. We have called Forsyth County home for 18 years. Our son is a graduate of North Forsyth High School and our daughter is a graduate of Denmark High School. We enjoy spending family time together camping, hiking, being on the lake, at the beach, or in the mountains. “We are all rough drafts of the people we are still becoming. Embrace uncertainty. Some of the most beautiful chapters in our lives won’t have a title until much later.” ~Bob Goff

Rachael Dooley-Assistant Principal
My name is Rachael Dooley, and I am delighted to be joining the Midway Elementary family as an Assistant Principal. I am truly thrilled to become a part of such a dedicated and caring school.
I have been an educator for 25 years, with 21 of those years spent working in the Forsyth County School System. I was an Assistant Principal at Matt Elementary and also had the privilege of supporting the Haw Creek community in the same role. My other experiences include teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade, serving as a media specialist, and working as a literacy coach. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia Southern University, a Master’s Degree from the University of West Georgia, and a Specialist's Degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Additionally, I have a gifted endorsement. These experiences have shaped my approach to education, emphasizing collaboration, student success, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
On a personal note, my family is my greatest joy. My husband is a Battalion Chief for the City of Roswell Fire Department. We are the proud parents of two amazing children. One has graduated from the Alliance Academy, and the other currently attends North Forsyth High School. In my spare time, you will find me cheering on my son on the lacrosse field, spending time on our family farm, or engrossed in a good book.
I am eager to contribute to the continued success of Midway Elementary and to work alongside each of you in creating a positive and thriving educational environment.
