Hello Midway Mustangs! I am excited to be in 2nd grade again this year and teaching at Midway Elementary. This year marks my 30th year of teaching. I am a University of Tennessee graduate. My husband, Dean, and I live in the community. We have one son, Jacob, and a dog named Rosie. Dean and I enjoy visiting family in Tennessee, traveling across the United States, and being outdoors. 2nd grade is filled with lots of fun, exciting, and varied learning experiences. I look forward to our "Learning Adventure" this year.

Welcome to Second Grade! I love being part of the Midway family! I am very excited to have you in my class this year. This is my 4th year teaching at Midway, however I've been part of the Midway family far longer. My daughter will be a junior at Denmark High School this year and I have a 8th grade son at DeSana who both attended Midway. This really is home for me!

Welcome to 2nd grade!! I am so excited to have you in my class this year! I am a native to Forsyth County and spent most of my childhood attending the great schools in this district. I later went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!). This will be my tenth year teaching and it will be my ninth year teaching 2nd grade--- my absolute favorite! I am SO excited to get to know all of you and learn and grow together this year.

I am excited to start my 14th year in education. I have taught 1st, 2nd and computer science. I most recently made the switch from Sawnee Elementary, where I was a paraprofessional in Kindergarten, to Midway to teach 2nd grade. I graduated from Young Harris College and University of Georgia. I received my masters in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College. I married to my awesome husband of 14 years and we have twin daughters going into 7th grade. We love to hike with our dog, kayak on the lake and enjoy time together playing games and gardening. I look forward to meeting Midway families!

This is my 5th year at Midway! I am a University of North Georgia graduate with an Early Childhood/Special Education Degree and a Master's degree. In my spare time, you can find me with my husband, friends, and family. I love all things Georgia Football, and I am a huge fan of the US Women's National Soccer Team. It is going to be a great year, and I can't wait to see how much we learn and grow!
