Welcome to 2nd grade!! I am so excited to have you in my class this year! I am a native to Forsyth County and spent most of my childhood attending the great schools in this district. I later went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!).
This will be my eight year teaching, and it will be my seventh year teaching 2nd grade--- my absolute favorite! I am SO excited to learn and grow with my wonderful students this year!
Welcome to 2nd grade! I am excited to be joining the 2nd grade Team at Midway this year. This school year marks my 28th year as a teacher. I am a graduate of The University of Tennessee. My husband, Dean, and I have one son, Jacob, and a daughter-in-law, Kaleigh. Kaleigh is a 3rd grade teacher in Forsyth County at Silver City. Dean and I live in the Midway Community. We enjoy being outside with our dog, Rosie and traveling to Tennessee to visit family and friends. I look forward to a great school year at Midway.
I have lived in Alpharetta for 26 years, and I have loved being at Midway for 13 of those years! My husband is a middle school teacher and my daughter is a high school senior, both in North Fulton county. In my free time I am supporting my daughter's high school band and finding fun and exciting restaurants! I also enjoy solving crossword puzzles and singing along to Broadway musicals. I am so excited to teach your student!
Welcome to Second Grade! I love being part of the Midway family! Though this is only my second year teaching at Midway, I've been part of the Midway family far longer as I was blessed for both my children to attend Midway.
I am excited to start my 20th year of teaching here at Midway Elementary! I grew up in Gwinnett County and moved to Forsyth last year. I graduated from West Georgia College with my B.S. in Recreational Therapy and got my certification and Masters in Ed. at Georgia State as well as my Specialist from Brenau University.
I have two daughters that keep me busy on the weekends either on the soccer field or in the equestrian ring that attend DeSana Middle and Denmark High School. My husband is an A.P. at Denmark and we love to cheer on our Denmark Cluster. I can't wait to grow with you this year!
Thank you for reading my bio. This is my 15th year teaching in Forsyth County. I am a graduate of Emmanuel and Piedmont Colleges with a Specialist in Early Childhood Education. I am also gifted certified and math endorsed.
I have a wife who also teaches elementary school in Forsyth County and 3 miniature dachshunds.
