Hi, my name is Molly Asp, and I am entering my 8th year of teaching! I have my Master’s degree from the College of Saint Scholastica and my Bachelor’s degree from The College of Saint Benedict/St. John’s University. Both of these colleges are located in Minnesota (where I'm originally from). This is my 4th year at Midway, and I absolutely love the community of students, parents, and staff!

When I’m not working, you can find me outdoors or with friends. I love hiking, yoga, and any water-related activity. I am also passionate about travel. This summer I taught summer school, and went on a trip to see my family in Minnesota. I can’t wait to meet my 5th graders this year and hear about their summer adventures!

Hello! My name is Ayumi Bryan and this is my second year teaching at Midway. This will be my 11th year teaching and I have experience in grades K-8, both special education and general education in Georgia and abroad. I have my Master's degree in instructional technology form Kennesaw University and love finding new ways to use technology in the classroom. My husband and I have two boys at and during our free time we love to travel and try new food. I can't wait to meet everyone and spend the school year together!

Hello Midway Elementary School Community! My name is Alicia Burgum and this is my third year of teaching and second year at Midway. I started my journey to become an educator when I was in middle school, and I carried this passion throughout my college and university careers. I graduated from the University of Georgia, and also taught in New Zealand. My true calling is working with children and giving them the tools to follow their dreams. In my spare time, I love to paint, ride horses, read and enjoy my time with my family. I'm looking forward to spending this year with the students and staff at Midway Elementary School, and having a great school year filled with learning and adventure.

I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a dual degree in early childhood and special education. This will be my fifth year teaching. In my spare time I like to read and play soccer, as well as spend time with my wife and two cats.

I received my degree in Early Childhood Education from Auburn University where I also played lacrosse. War Eagle! This will be my 11th year teaching and my 5th year at Midway Elementary School. I have taught third grade for 5 years and fourth grade for 6 years. My husband and I have been married for five years. We have a little girl named McKinley and a beagle named Trooper. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, running, reading, and going to Auburn. I am very excited for this upcoming school year! It is going to be a great year!

Hi my name is Amanda Luper and this will be my 4th year teaching at Midway, and 13th year in education. I have a bachelor's and a masters degree in education from Kennesaw State University. Go owls! I grew up in Georgia and spent much of my time teaching in Cobb County, before moving to Forsyth a few years ago. One thing I enjoy most about being a teacher is getting to know my students, and showing them how fun learning can be. I look forward to meeting and working with you this year!
