    • Daily assistance offered, Monday-Saturday, between 9 am- 12noon & 1-3 pm

    • Food is free of charge (require valid ID, proof of income & proof of residency)

    Cumming United Methodist Church (770-887-2900)

    • Offer a Food Pantry every Wednesday, from 9am-11am

    • Food free of charge (only require name and number of children in household)

    Angel Food Ministries

    • Host site: Cumming New Life Church (770-889-6919)

    • Offer assistance monthly: Place orders at the beginning of the month through the host site and food is delivered several days later

    • Monthly packages typically cost $30 and include a considerable amount of food

    • “Specials” are offered each month, in addition to the monthly menu, with a minimal added charge

    • Menus are available for viewing at http://www.angelfoodministries.com/

    Abba’s House Food Pantry (678-208-2000)

    • Offer a Food Pantry every Thursday, from 2-5 pm (limited to two visits a month, per family)

    • Food is free of charge ( require valid ID, proof of income & social security cards of every household member)

    • Families will receive one box of food for every two household members

    Concord Baptist Church—“There’s Hope” program (770-887-9482)

    • Offer a Food Pantry on the last Thursday of each month, from 10am- 2pm

    • Food free of charge, although some quantity restrictions may apply

    Unseen Ministries Food Bank

    • Offers a Food Pantry the second Saturday of every month from 10am - 1pm.

    • Located at 5705 Namon Wallace Road in Cumming past Leon's.

    School Safety:
     

    Say Stop Hotline:  1-877-SAY-STOP (1-877-729-7867) is a toll-free, 24-hour school safety hotline.  From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the operator at the Georgia Department of Education works the hotline.  After 5 p.m. and on weekends and holidays, the hotline calls are transferred to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
