Hello! I'm Macy Moonshower. I just graduated from the University of North Georgia with a dual degree in early childhood and special education and a reading endorsement. This will be my first year teaching and I am looking forward to finally being able to use my passion for teaching. I love to be outdoors, read, travel, and spend time with my friends and family in my free time. I am very excited to join the Big Creek family!

My husband and I live here in Cumming with our son, Henry Duke.

My name is Elizabeth Hollon and I am a speech-language pathologist serving Big Creek and Shiloh Point Elementary Schools. I received my undergraduate degree from Indiana University and my master's degree from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. Outside of school I enjoy cooking, hiking with my black lab, Olive, spending time on the lake, and reading. I am excited for a great year at Big Creek!

She has 26 years of experience working with children with communication disorders. During her professional career, Ms. Turner has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. She has gained experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, homes, and private practice. I am from Sparta, Michigan. I went to Western Michigan University. I have taught Self-Contained Special Education for 13 years. I am married to Carl and have 2 children. Amir who is 12 and in 7th grade and Laila who is 10 and in 4th grade. My passion has always been to work with children with special needs. I love my job and kiddos I get to work with every day.
Hi! My name is Kayla Peters. This is my second year teaching at Big Creek and my fourth year teaching. I am the third through fifth grade Moderate Intellectual Disability teacher. I have my bachelor's degree from the University of North Georgia in Early Childhood and Special Education, my Master's degree from Georgia Southern University in Special Education, and am currently pursuing my Specialist's Degree in Special Education. I love my job and love getting to see the milestones that my students achieve as they achieve them.

Hey! My name is Paige Fuss. This is my first year teaching at Big Creek Elementary. I am the third through fifth grade Modified Curriculum Autism teacher. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I received my master’s degree from Georgia State University in Moderate/Severe intellectual disabilities. I am so excited to be a part of the Big Creek family this year!

With a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics and having over 8 years experience working with children in diversified fields such as pediatric department in hospital industry, Special ED, and elementary and middle school environment I would like to introduce myself Mrs. Rasna Singh, who takes teaching as an opportunity for continual learning and growth.
I am happily married for 14years with two beautiful children, a 12 year old boy and a 9 year old girl.
I enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, camping with my family and also love reading and watching movies.

This is my first year at Big Creek and I am extremely excited joining their Special Education team! I have a bachelor's degree in Nursing. I used to work as a registered nurse abroad until I found my passion and interest in Special Education. I have worked with children with special needs for 9 years and has 2 years experience working with Georgia Pre-K in Cumming. In 2008, I studied at Georgia State University and obtained my certification in Special Education Multiple and Severe Disabilities with Reading endorsement in 2012. My husband and I have been residents of Forsyth since 2006. We have two girls who are 11 and 4. Our family likes to travel and loves going to the beach.

My name is Jill Alie. I am a paraprofessional supporting the special education department here at Big Creek. I received my undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. I went on to receive my Masters in Education degree in Intensive Special Needs from Simmon’s College in Boston, MA. I taught special education for 11 years before becoming a stay at home mom to my three children. While I was home with my children, I completed my Reading Endorsement and added on a Reading Specialist certification. Last year I came back to the county as an Interrelated Paraprofessional. I am very happy to be back in the classroom and working with your beautiful children!
