Nicole Witte I received a B.S. in Psychology from San Diego State University and a M.A. in Education from Hofstra University. This is my 5th year teaching at Big Creek as an Interrelated Resource Teacher. I live in Alpharetta with my husband and three children. 710415 Jacklyn Manton Jacklyn Manton graduated from Georgia State University with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She grew up in Forsyth County and graduated from Forsyth Central High School in 2010. She got married to her high school sweetheart this summer. They live in Cumming with their dog and two cats. Mrs. Manton is excited for her second year here at Big Creek Elementary.

My name is Trisha Hoyes, and I am proudly educating your children with 12 years of experience. I received my undergrad in both Elementary Education and Special Education from Eastern Kentucky University. I then went on to receive my masters from Nova Southeastern University in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, I have a Reading Endorsement, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher. My husband and I live here in Cumming with our son, Henry Duke.

My name is Jill Alie. I am a paraprofessional supporting the special education department here at Big Creek. I received my undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. I went on to receive my Masters in Education degree in Intensive Special Needs from Simmon’s College in Boston, MA. I taught special education for 11 years before becoming a stay at home mom to my three children. While I was home with my children, I completed my Reading Endorsement and added on a Reading Specialist certification. Last year I came back to the county as an Interrelated Paraprofessional. I am very happy to be back in the classroom and working with your beautiful children!

I am from Sparta, Michigan. I went to Western Michigan University. I have taught Self-Contained Special Education for 13 years. I am married to Carl and have 2 children. Amir who is 12 and in 7th grade and Laila who is 10 and in 4th grade. My passion has always been to work with children with special needs. I love my job and kiddos I get to work with every day.
Hi! My name is Kayla Peters. This is my second year teaching at Big Creek and my fourth year teaching. I am the third through fifth grade Moderate Intellectual Disability teacher. I have my bachelor's degree from the University of North Georgia in Early Childhood and Special Education, my Master's degree from Georgia Southern University in Special Education, and am currently pursuing my Specialist's Degree in Special Education. I love my job and love getting to see the milestones that my students achieve as they achieve them.
