Club Sponsor:Catherine EmoryClub Overview:We are a student-run, student-led organization that partners with the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate to advance the mission of Habitat for Humanity. The mission for Habitat for Humanity is to have a world where everyone has a decent place to live.Club Meeting Times:Meetings are held in room 1892.A time will be determined after the first meeting of the officers.Club Activities or Events:There are four main functions of Habitat for Humanity:1. BuildingWe will attend two builds in the second semester.2. FundraisingSeptember -candyOctober - Trick or Treat for Habitat - change for changeNovember - Restaurant give back night (we need new suggestions for restaurants)December - Barnes and Nobel gift wrapping (if they have started doing it again).Spring - car wash? and builds3. EducationWe will educate students from Sharon Elementary about Habitat for Humanity (if they have started doing that again).4. AdvocatingWe will attend Club Rush to gain new members.Caroline Wilkins and Rebecca Bryan - co-Presidents
