    Club Overview:
    Lambert High School's chapter of the Junior Classical League (Latin Club) is an affiliate of the National Junior Classical League and Georgia Junior Classical League. The National Junior Classical League was formed in 1936 by the American Classical League. Local and state chapters, composed of high school students, work to promote the study and appreciation of classics. It is the largest classical organization in the world today.

     
     
    Club Meeting Times:
    As determined by the club president and the faculty sponsor -- we are presently meeting approximately twice a month (Wed. before school). 


    Club Activities:

    Varied, as determined by the club's officers and members. We try to attend Fall Forum which is usually held the third or fourth Saturday of October at a local high school.   The annual Georgia Junior Classical League State Convention is usually scheduled for a weekend in April close to the birthday of Rome, April 21st, at the Rock Eagle 4-H Convention Center in Eatonton, Georgia. Details for each of these events are forthcoming.  Elections for 2020-21 officers will be held in the Fall.
