More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.2021-2022 NHS New Member Application Process:National Honor Society membership is by invitation only.All Junior and Senior students with a 3.80 GPA or higher will receive an invitation to apply for admission via a rigorous application process in mid-August.Completed applications must be submitted by the deadline. Late or Incomplete applications will not be considered for club membership. Applications will be screened by the Lambert Teacher Advisery Committee using a given rubric for evaluation of strengths across the 4 pillars of NHS: Character, Community, Scholarship and Leadership. Qualified applicants will be notified of their acceptance by August 31, 2022. New NHS members must participate in the NHS Induction Ceremony on September 17.Club Meeting TimesMandatory Monthly general meetings will be on Tuesdays in the LHS auditorium. Dates TBD. Individual project committees will meet as necessary.Club Activities or EventsThe NHS provides a wide range of service opportunities and social events during the course of the year.
