- The Facilities Department is a customer-oriented, service organization that is strategically organized into the following functions:
- Facility Planning
- Facilities Usage Information
- Facilities Usage Information for Performing Arts Centers
Each of these functions operates with a shared vision to exceed expectations and be respected for the quality of our work and the excellence of our people. The department’s mission is to efficiently and professionally provide safe, clean, and functional facilities and grounds. We currently have 37 schools providing 2,432 instructional units and 7 administrative support buildings. All this comprises 5,159,118 square feet on 1,594.4 acres. A staff of only 28 skilled craftsmen, including a PM Crew, maintain all the campuses.
