I can't imagine doing anything other than teaching! I've loved this work for over 13 years! After graduating from Piedmont College in 2004, I began teaching in Gwinnett County. The last 11years I have taught second grade and kindergarten at Shiloh Point. Before coming to Forsyth County I taught for 2.5 years in Gwinnett County. While teaching I continued my education and got my masters in Reading and Literacy from Walden University. In my work with children, I strive to help them discover their passions and experience the world around them. I treat each day as a new adventure from which to learn, explore, and grow.

This year is my second year teaching and I am beyond thrilled to be at Shiloh Point Elementary! I graduated from Georgia College and State University with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education in May of 2018. Kindergarten is such an amazing year of growth, and I am eager to partner alongside your family and each student that enters my room throughout the years to come. Your child's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being is my top priority and I can not wait for an amazing year as a Shiloh Point Shark!
