I have been teaching for 28 years. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. This is my tenth year at Shiloh where I have taught 3rd grade, Horizons and the Math/Science Lab. I have found that teaching a variety of grades has helped me to better understand and appreciate the full spectrum of learning that takes place in elementary school. My classroom is project based. I also strive to weave technology into my curriculum and work hard to make my lessons applicable to the real world.

Email Ms. Luppino Mrs. Kristina Cherres First Grade is Fin-tastic! This year will be my second year in First Grade at Shiloh Point. Prior to joining the Shark family, I taught Elementary Spanish in Olathe, Kansas. My family moved here five years ago, at which point I went back to school to earn a dual degree in Early Childhood Education & Special Education, as well a Reading endorsement. When I'm not studying or thinking of lesson plans I love to sing along to show tunes, play board games with my family, or curl up with a good book. Email Mrs. Cherres Ms. Mandy Price
I am looking forward to another wonderful year at Shiloh Point Elementary! I started my teaching career in Georgia, teaching third grade for three years. My husband and I moved to Chattanooga, TN for two years where I taught Kindergarten. I am happy to be back home in Georgia and I have already fallen in love with the Forsyth area! Getting to know my students and making them feel as comfortable as possible in my classroom is my number one priority. Please know that my door is always open to my student's families and I encourage weekly communication. I look forward to working with you through the year to help your child succeed and soar academically and socially!

I have been teaching for 24 years in every grade level from kindergarten through fifth, but first grade is my favorite grade to teach! First graders are enthusiastic learners, and I strive to provide a challenging, caring and engaging environment to foster their love of learning. Two years ago, I moved to Georgia from Florida where I earned my Master’s degree from the University of West Florida. I am so pleased to join the fantastic team here at Shiloh Point Elementary!
