I am so excited to be joining the Shiloh Point family for my second year! I received a dual degree from the University of North Georgia in Early Childhood/Special education and also graduated with a minor in music. I have lived in Forsyth county for the past 15 years and attended Forsyth county schools. I am a father to my 7 year old daughter, Layla, and she will also be at Shiloh Point as a second grader. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing guitar, playing chess, and staying active. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at anytime. I look forward to meeting you and working with you throughout the year.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Shiloh Point family for my first-year teaching! I recently graduated from the University of North Georgia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Additionally, I have received a Reading Endorsement along with my degree. I have spent the majority of my life growing up in the countryside of North Forsyth, and attended my elementary and middle-school years within this county. Teaching is a true passion of mine, and I look forward to all of the excitement this first year has to offer!

Ever since I was in elementary school I have wanted to be a teacher. I have been so lucky to get to live out my dream, and I can't wait to continue living it at Shiloh Point next year. In 2006, I graduated from Georgia State University, and I have been teaching in ever since. I live in Forsyth with my husband and two children. I believe in creating a classroom environment where students feel safe and successful as they try new things as learners.

What you do every day means more than what you do every once in a while."  This is the thought that runs my classroom community and teachings.  A smile and a hug go a long way.  I grew up on the coast of Georgia and lived there until going away to college in Milledgeville, Georgia. I taught in Henry County before moving to Cumming to start and raise my family. I stayed home for 10 years to raise my two children; a daughter and a son.  As soon as I could leave the home, I started teaching at Shiloh and realize each day that teaching is one of my greatest passions.
