Christy Mesa
I am so excited to be starting my 15th year of teaching. I just love kids and teaching! After many years of working in accounting, I decided I wanted to give back to the community and went back to school. I earned a master's degree in teaching at Piedmont College. My experience includes ten years teaching fourth grade, one-year teaching third grade, and three years teaching second grade. I am married to a wonderful husband of 27 years, and we have three college age children. My son just graduated from Georgia Tech, his twin sister has started her master’s at Valdosta University, and my youngest daughter attends Kennesaw State University. I can’t wait to get to know my new students😊
