I am also working on my master’s degree from Piedmont College. My husband and I have two very spoiled cats that love to lay around and watch TV with us. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to another great year at CES!

I attended Florida Atlantic University where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. Then I attended Nova Southeastern University where I earned a master's degree in reading. I also have gifted and ESOL endorsements. I love to teach and help students develop a passion for learning. I live in Cumming with my husband and our two boys. I am so fortunate to be starting my 11th year at Cumming Elementary with a great staff and terrific students. This is my 23rd year of teaching overall and my 9th year teaching third grade. I am married to my best friend, and we have two wonderful grown children who are both students at Georgia State University. My husband and I graduated from the University of Virginia (home of the 2019 NCAA basketball champions!), so we are huge Cavalier fans. My time away from school is spent reading good books, going to church, playing trivia and board games, and camping with my family.
