    This is my third year at Cumming Elementary and my 31st year in education. I have my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education from the University of Florida with certifications in Early Education, Middle Grades ELA, Social Studies & Math, ESOL and Special Education. I’ve taught various levels from Pre-K thru college, been a Preschool Administrator and worked with Pre-K and K teachers as a coach. I am married to my college sweetheart, Boris and we have three amazing boys. Boris A. is a grad student at UGA, Shane, a freshman at UNG and Jack, a junior at Lambert. I am so excited to be teaching math and science this year and am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning in 5th grade

    My name is Jody Corwin,  and I have been teaching 27 years.  I am the mother of two. My daughter Emily graduated from Forsyth Central and is in her second year of college. My son, Charlie, will be a 10th grader at Central which is also where my husband teaches. I graduated from The University of West Georgia. I began teaching in Henry County where I taught grades 1-4. When I moved to Fulton, I taught Special Education and Fifth grade. I am very excited to be in Forsyth County and teaching fifth grade again.

    I am looking forward to another great first year at Cumming Elementary. This is my 2nd year at CES and my 10th year of teaching. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Elementary Education, and I love Auburn football. I have been married to my husband, Shawn for 17 years. He is a high school football coach and teacher. We have 3 wonderful children, Luke, Lexi, and Libby Kate. I am excited about the many fun and exciting things my students and I will learn and explore together this year!

    This will be my 13th year teaching, and I am a Forsyth County Native and a North Forsyth graduate. I have 2 children who go to Cumming, Kylie(8) who will be in 3rd grade and Ryker (5) who will be in K. I enjoy finding ways to make learning fun, from writing songs to creating movies, projects, and more. I look forward to another amazing year!

    I am so excited to teach 5th grade Math and Science again this year! I have a passion for technology and STEM and lead the STEAM club here at CES! I have been teaching for over 8 years, after a successful career in management. I am married to my college sweetheart. We have 3 boys and a furry girl together. Caleb is in 8th grade, Reece is in 6th grade, Sawyer is starting Kindergarten in the DLI program here at CES, and Molly is an adorable almost 3 year old goldendoodle. It's going to be a GREAT year!

    I I am so excited to start another wonderful year in 5th grade! I absolutely love teaching 5th grade reading and social studies and cannot wait to share my passion with all of our students! I attended Georgia Southern University (Go Eagles!) for my Bachelor's degree, University of North Georgia for my Master's degree, and Piedmont College with my Specialist degree. My husband and I are very excited that our daughter, Lexington, will be starting CES this year in Kindergarten. I am looking forward to a great year! #cougarnation

    I am so thrilled to be teaching 5th Grade Math and Science at Cumming Elementary this year. This is my second year at Cumming Elementary. Last year, I had the privilege of being on the EIP team, but I am so excited to be back in the classroom as a homeroom teacher! A year ago I moved with my husband and two daughters from Idaho, where I also taught 5th grade. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with certifications in Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Language Arts, and Special Education. This is going to be a wonderful year!
