The NHS is a service-based organization that recognizes outstanding high school students, who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.8 and demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  Members are invited to the join the National Honor Society, and there is an Induction ceremony for new members.  The NHS meets monthly.  The NHS participates in fundraisers for local charities, teacher appreciation breakfast, Northside Hospital holiday helpers, entertainment evenings for local, needy families, individual, service projects.
