• Educational Setting Decision 2021-22 School Year

In effort to meet the evolving needs of learners, Lambert High School is offering three educational settings for the 2021-2022 school year. Families will have the opportunity to indicate their choice of educational setting during the Survey Window of Monday, April 12th-Friday, April 30th.

To help families with this decision, Lambert High School has designed this webpage to house resources that support questions you may have about what is best for your child. Please read descriptions of each of the educational settings below:

    • Traditional Face to Face Instruction: Traditional Face to Face courses will continue to be offered on campus. Students in these classes will be expected to come on campus daily to receive instruction. All Lambert HS courses will continue to be offered in this format.

    • Lambert Virtual Academy (Synchronous): Lambert Virtual Academy courses will be a blend of SYNCHRONOUS virtual class sessions and ON CAMPUS Face to Face instruction. Students will be expected to log in for LIVE VIRTUAL SESSIONS on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday during their class period (s) for approximately 20 minutes each session. On Block Days (Wednesday for EVEN periods OR Thursday for ODD periods), students will be expected to attend their Lambert Virtual Academy course ON CAMPUS for face to face instruction.

This educational setting encourages student participation by LIVE virtual sessions as well as ON CAMPUS opportunities for class collaboration, hands-on activities, and other enrichment opportunities. Students seeking this option will be able to come on and off campus as needed for classes OR complete their virtual learning periods in one of our commons areas.

Click here for a comprehensive list of our anticipated initial Lambert Virtual Academy course offerings for the 2021-2022 school year.

    • Forsyth Virtual Academy (Asynchronous): Lambert students seeking ASYNCHRONOUS (no live instruction or scheduled log-in time) courses may elect to add courses through Forsyth Virtual Academy or GA Virtual School. To request these courses, students will need to visit this webpage for more information: https://www.forsyth.k12.ga.us/Page/51655

Please be aware that the GAVS registration deadline for all Forsyth County students is July 6th, 2021. This is for both Fall and Spring semester requests. Any requests made after that date will be denied.
