Josh Lowe Named Principal of Forsyth Central HS

Dr. Josh Lowe, was named principal of Forsyth Central High to fill the vacancy created by Mitch Young’s appointment to Deputy Superintendent.  He has been assistant principal at FCHS since joining the district in 2013.  He came to us from Butts County as assistant principal and athletic director at Jackson High.  He has held positions in education since 2000 as a history teacher, football coach, and assistant athletic director in Twiggs County, Murray County, Randolph County, Floyd County, and Emanuel County in Georgia as well as Limestone County in Alabama.  He holds a B.S. in Secondary Education from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama, a M.A. in Secondary Education from University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, a Specialist in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate Tennessee, and an Ed.D. in Education Leadership from Argosy University in Atlanta.  Please congratulate Dr. Lowe on his new role.
