FCS Named to the Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll
For the sixth year, Forsyth County Schools was named by College Board to the Annual AP District Honor Roll. Four other school districts received this distinction in Georgia; 373 school districts in the U.S. and Canada were honored.
The Annual AP District Honor Roll recognizes districts that have increased access to AP for underrepresented students while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning AP exam scores of 3 or higher.
"Our teachers and counselors know the importance of having motivated and prepared students experience college-level academic courses while in high school," shared FCS Superintendent Jeff Bearden. "We have worked hard to expand AP opportunities for more students, and look forward to continuing an offering that is a win-win not only for students, but their parents as well."
