Congratulations 2022 FCS Spelling Bee Winners!

On Saturday, January 8, 2022, 33 students from Forsyth County elementary and middle schools participated in the district Spelling Bee. Each student was the winner of their school's Spelling Bee. After 14 rounds of competition, Nimal Murugan from South Forsyth MS was named the 2022 FCS Spelling Bee champion after correctly spelling the winning word- pharaoh. The first runner up was Sharanya Vats from North Forsyth MS, the second runner up was Aarna Addicam from Kelly Mill ES, and the third runner was Advika Ajay from Shiloh Point ES. These four students will compete in the Georgia Association of Educators' Region 2 Spelling Bee on February 26th. Ronit Rajpurohit from Johns Creek ES placed 5th and will serve as the alternate.
