North Forsyth High School Celebrates 25 Years
During the 2018-2019 school year, North Forsyth High School celebrates our silver anniversary. It's been twenty five years since the building opened, welcoming our first class of students to its hallways. Since the opening of the school in 1994, the building has been renovated and updated to provide students with a state of the art learning, athletic and fine arts facility. Though the faces around the halls have changed, the paint has been touched up, the logos have been updated and the campus expanded, the pride of being a member of Raider Nation has never faded.
To commemorate the 25th Anniversary, 51 former athletes and coaches were inducted as the inaugural class of the North Forsyth High School Athletic Department Hall of Fame. We celebrated the accomplishments of North Forsyth's first teams, individual and coaches to win a State Championship on Thursday, October 4th and unveiled the new Hall of Fame in Raider Arena on Friday, October 5th, where the inductees were recognized on the field before the Homecoming football game.
Additionally, we celebrated our silver anniversary by recognizing previous principals, assistant principals and athletic directors and crowned our newest Homecoming King & Queen with the help of North Forsyth's first Senior Class President, Casey Meeks, '95, and very first Homecoming Queen, Amy Griffin, '95. The week was full of special events and guests and was fun for all.
