Important start-of-year documents are available in the Parent Portal.  In relation to those forms, please click on this link to access the Forsyth County School Student Engagement Guide for the 2024 – 2025 school year. This document outlines a great deal of information regarding topics such as communication, personal information, grading, safety and health, responsible use etc. We encourage you to take the time to familiarize yourself with the information contained in that document. Please log in to review and sign all required permission slips and handbook acknowledgments before school begins on Thursday, August 3rd. Any forms in Parent Portal not completed by August 15 will default to a Yes answer. Parents can choose to change their mind and opt out at any time.

In accordance with FERPA / PPRA / and COPPA requirements as well as School Board Policy JR, all parents have the ability to opt out of student information sharing by writing the principal a letter or email within the first 10 days of enrollment.​ This opt out is not contained in the forms on Parent Portal, a letter or email must be written. It's crucial to update email addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers annually to ensure you receive vital school communications and can be reached by teachers and staff. To update your information, access the Parent Portal and select "More" at the bottom of the menu.
